Description

• Provide development and engineering thought leadership to identify opportunities for more value for customers through energy storage solutions • Lead a team to define differentiated solutions and efficiently grow the energy storage business • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize energy storage plants and reduce costs • Provide technical sales support and value engineering • Manage engineering deliverables and solve key challenges during development • Train and continuously improve our standard product design and deliverables • Participate in events to improve our process

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience with commercial or utility-scale energy storage and solar PV development, design or construction • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or other engineering discipline • Demonstrated understanding of the market for commercial and utility-scale energy storage engineering services • Experience with designing and modeling renewable energy coupled with energy storage • Experience and familiarity with commercially available storage technologies • Working knowledge of fire and building codes, electrical standards (UL/IEEE) and National Electrical Code, U.S. utility interconnection standards • Familiarity with Lean problem-solving techniques and tools and excellent problem-solving skills • A strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to impact the company’s performance • Excellent communication skills • Strong team leadership skills • Comfortable working with a collaborative team in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
