• Principal Software Engineer at Nextdoor on the Feed Infra team • Responsible for building feed technology • Small, high performing team of engineers • Focus on impact for customers • Utilize Python, Kotlin, and Go for building systems • Re-architecting feed infrastructure • Collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and engineering leaders • Mentorship of engineers designing next generation of Nextdoor • Participate in team building exercises and events • Contribute to the KIND culture valued by Nextdoor
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • High-initiative leader driving technical vision • Strong coding and debugging abilities • Experience in designing, building, and deploying backend systems at scale • Desire to learn about new technologies and systems
