• Perform on-site audits and engineering studies to monitor and analyze generator performance in New York State energy markets • Provide technical assistance in computational analysis, mathematical optimization, and engineering to support market studies and financial evaluations • Engage in discussions to resolve issues, support compliance monitoring activities, and provide market participant contact • Support senior engineer in various activities related to generator, transmission, and power system operation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Systems Engineering. Master’s degree preferred • Five years related industry experience • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and regulations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in basic mathematical subject areas, including calculus and algebra • Intermediate competency in Windows operating environment using MS Office
