Software for rapid military planning: make planning fast enough for today's environment

2 - 10

💰 $21M Venture Round on 2022-10

Description

• Onebrief makes military planning seamless and represents a shift in paradigm for future military decisions. It is an all-in-one tool that supports both the creative and process-oriented aspects of military planning. In Onebrief, planners use maps, boards, diagrams, timelines, tables, slides and written products to create their plans—all while sharing a common database. Everything stays in sync, in real time. Our approach has been refined and validated through hundreds of user experiments. • We’re post-revenue (8-figure ARR, 4x year-over-year growth), and our customers include some of the most prestigious military commands around the world. We are backed by Y Combinator (S21) and top-tier VCs, including Caffeinated Capital (Affirm, Docker, Notion, and more) and Human Capital (Andruil, Brex, Snowflake, and more). Our elite team combines the best of tech and military talent, including education and experience at Google, Twitter, Adobe, MIT, Harvard, Delta Force, TOPGUN, and more. • This is an opportunity for you to join us with all the perks of an early employee. • We’re a fast growing startup looking for a senior SDET to help lead the way in making our (realtime OT / built on top of socket.io ) application more tested and more testable at the component level. • At large, this SDET will be focusing on devising and documenting strategies to make our components more testable, writing component and unit tests, and documenting best practices. • You'll report to Dominic Pace, our CISO and Director of Technology Operations. • You’re a experienced React developer and SDET who knows their way around declarative pipelines, containers, and yarn workspaces. You love a challenge, from figuring out ways to make our application more testable to developing code that provides test coverage for our ecosystem of React components - you’re ready to dig in. • We’re in the defense space, so we’re looking for someone excited about our mission, eager to contribute to a growing startup, and looking for an autonomous environment where everyone has a seat at the table. On top of that, as the second SDET on our team you will be making a foundational and massive impact in the product and growth trajectory of the company. • Required : o 3+ years of frontend development experience with React o Developing and/or improving tooling around unit and integration testing for a React or React-like web application o Creatively implementing shift left methodologies that demonstratively led to higher code quality o Mentoring engineers in best practices around code quality • Nice to haves — experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines that make use of: o Github Actions (or similar) declarative pipelines o Visual regression testing, either homegrown or 3rd party o e2e tests o API tests o Load and/or performance testing o Docker, Kubernetes • U.S. citizenship required
