Description
• Forward Deployed Software Engineers understand customers' pain points and design solutions • They deploy technical solutions to solve customers' hardest problems • Lead the way in developing solutions from high-level system design to application development • Leverage Palantir products, open source technologies, and anything available to drive real impact • Work with customers globally to understand and solve their problems • Accommodate all aspects of an environment to drive technical outcomes for customers • Encourage growth and learning within the community to solve meaningful challenges
Requirements
• Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance • Strong engineering background in fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics • Experience in logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and technical tools • Understanding of how technical decisions impact end users • Strong coding proficiency in languages like Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and work in a rapidly changing environment • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision • Willingness and interest to travel as needed
