Description

• Palantir's defense product vertical builds mission-critical products for the modern warfighter. • This is a frontend engineering role focused on application development for our defense product offering, crafting applications for organizations to keep their countries safe. • You will be involved throughout the product lifecycle - from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and shipping. • As part of this role, you will be constantly exploring new horizons and building new skills to meet real world needs. • Responsible for architecting and developing interfaces for sophisticated, data-intensive workflows. • Own APIs and schemas that power frontend code and work with backend engineers. • Work on projects such as building for high-scale, collaborative geospatial workflows, designing sophisticated frameworks, and developing real-time collaborative tooling and data-analysis solutions. • Technologies used include Typescript, React, Blueprint, and a mix of open-source and internal technologies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of frontend software engineering experience • Strong frontend coding skills in JavaScript • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance • Passion for building user interfaces • Ability to work in teams of technical and non-technical individuals • Experience in a fast-paced CI/CD development environment • Proven ability to learn continuously and work independently with minimal supervision • Motivated by improving user workflows while maintaining engineering quality
