Description
• Assess creditworthiness and risk profiles of potential clients • Identify and mitigate potential risks through thorough evaluations and due diligence • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies • Analyze transaction data to identify trends and potential risks • Communicate with partners to conduct thorough risk investigations • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Requirements
• Have 2 - 5 years previous experience in payment processing, underwriting, risk, or a related field within the financial services or payment processing industry is preferred • Have familiarity with underwriting principles and risk assessment methodologies • Willing to participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to stay current with risk management best practices • Are able to contribute to the continuous improvement of risk assessment tools, models, and methodologies • Willing to stay informed about emerging risks and industry trends to proactively manage potential threats • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will juggle many complex projects simultaneously • Have an innate sense of humility and intellectual honesty with an open mind for feedback • Personable and professional communicator able to interact with customers and request sensitive information in a delicate manner
