Description
• Support trade compliance strategy and ensure compliance with trade requirements • Advise customs brokers and ensure accurate payments of import duties • Conduct regular audits of import data and duty payments • Evaluate global Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience working for an importer of consumer products, Customs broker and/or trade consultancy • Comprehensive knowledge of Customs regulations, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, duty drawback, reconciliation and incoterms • Licensed Customs Broker preferred • Experience with ThomsonReuters OneSource GTM and NetSuite ERP preferred • Demonstrates self-initiative and drive to meet deadlines and work in a diverse, fast paced environment • Analytical with strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross functionally , external service providers and global teams • Excellent organizational skills
