Description
• Play a vital supporting role in the bank’s overall risk management strategy • Identify, evaluate, and opine on how to mitigate risks that could impact the Bank • Enhance existing risk management practices • Tap into the variety of risk areas and opine and act on best practices as they apply to all things risk
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience • A minimum of 7+ years of proven and progressive Commercial banking/ financial services operations, compliance, and/or legal management experience or equivalent • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management and compliance • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in evaluating compliance, risk management, and operational risk concepts and prudent practices for managing those risks • CAMS and Risk Management certification preferred • Familiarity with BSA/AML and OFAC information technology, concepts, and applications in a wide range of operating environments • Sound judgment and strong analytical/problem-solving skills • Project management skills and ability to manage project risks
