Description

• Act as part of the medical services team providing prenatal and reproductive health care according to PPHP protocol and operational process as directed by the Chief Medical Officer and/or Associate Medical Director. • Serve as the Clinical Director for the affiliate’s Gender Affirming Care (GAC) Program. • Secure a complete health history, including obstetric, gynecologic, gender identity, sexual behaviors, contraceptive, medical, surgical, sexual, family health, and psychosocial, and record findings accurately and succinctly. • Participate in the direct provision of all medical services including but not limited to gender affirming hormone therapy, family planning, abortion, prenatal, colposcopy, STD and infertility services on a scheduled basis.

Requirements

• Provide referrals and participates in follow-up. • Perform, orders, and interprets diagnostic studies as indicated and permitted by affiliate medical protocols • Consult with Chief Medical Officer or Senior Vice President Patient Services and Operations to ensure compliance with medical protocols. • Provides clinical input and contribution for the revision and implementation of PPHP’s clinical policies, protocols and procedures in accordance with PPFA Medical Standards and Guidelines, the New York State Department of Health, Title X, and any other relevant regulatory body. • In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and other key patient services management staff, participates in the planning and evaluation of PPHP’s health services and programs.
