Description

• Formulate and implement formal QA/testing practices, test processes, methodology, standards, and protocols for our agile development efforts. • Guide and mentor QA team members to ensure the delivery of work of the highest quality. • Develop and execute test plans and test cases to uphold the quality standards of software products. • Supervise all facets of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and devising new tools and procedures to achieve quality objectives. • Devise the strategy and facilitation of User Acceptance Testing, collaborating closely with the business to ensure objectives are met. • Coordinate, strategize, and oversee all release activities to ensure smooth product launches. • Lead and manage the execution of deployment plans and checklists during Go-Live activities. • Communicate all essential project plans, commitments, and alterations, including requirements, QA plans, schedule adjustments, and scope changes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8 + years of experience in software quality assurance and testing with prior hands-on quality engineering experience. • Proficient in at least one of these programming languages: Python (preferred), Javascript, Ruby or Java. • Experience in deploying solutions into AWS is a major plus. • Good exposure to Non-functional test strategies like Load, Perf, and Chaos. • Thorough understanding of the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance, Volume, User Acceptance). • Demonstrated expertise in devising and executing test plans and test cases to support various development methodologies. • Familiarity with multi-tier web application architecture and deployment processes. • Knowledgeable about QA best practices and methodologies for designing, implementing, and automating processes. • Experience utilizing a metrics-driven approach and closed-loop feedback to enhance software deliverables and improve the predictability and reliability of releases. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively documenting and reporting tested features and identified bugs.
