Description
• Work closely with other senior engineers, designers, our CTO and CEO to understand the needs of our users and the business, in order to prioritize and scope product initiatives • Build the Poggio product, frequently leading user-facing, design-driven projects from the idea stage through release and impact measurement • Work from briefs that range from very open-ended to somewhat developed
Requirements
• At least 3 years of work experience building intuitive, fast, and real-time web applications • Solid understanding of modern front-end technologies like TypeScript and React and the underlying web standards and APIs they’re built on • Experience collaborating with design to creatively solve problems • Experience building real-time (e.g. using WebSockets) and cross-platform web applications • Familiarity with backend engineering (and the desire to help out across the stack when needed) • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent skills & experience
