Description
• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure • Manage AWS infrastructure using HashiCorp tools • Contribute to architecture of scalable and reliable solutions within AWS • Utilize configuration management tools for consistent infrastructure management • Employ Agile Scrum methodologies for efficient project management • Manage CI/CD pipelines and source code repositories • Deploy and manage Datadog monitoring solutions • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure processes • Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and automation processes • Provide hands-on training and ongoing mentorship to junior team members • Lead technical initiatives for familiar and unfamiliar solutions • Evaluate existing processes and infrastructure for optimization
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of total relevant experience, including 5+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure management and automation • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp tools, particularly Terraform, Nomad, Consul, and Vault • Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Datadog • Experience with Docker and Container based architectures • Strong scripting and automation skills, with expertise in Python and preferably Shell or similar languages • Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments • Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting in complex distributed systems • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Ability to learn new products and solutions and champion their adoption
