Description

• The Finance Associate will directly support the VP of Finance & Strategy and Finance Manager on various workstreams within the Finance Team. This role will serve as the main analytical resource for the Finance Team, acting as a right hand to the VP and Finance Manager for recurring tasks such the monthly churn / retention analysis along with longer term projects such as annual budgeting and department deep dives. Further, the Finance Associate is expected to have excellent communication skills, possess the ability to “tell a story with numbers'' and explain financial concepts to audiences outside of the Finance and Accounting Teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in an Investment Banking or Transaction Services / Advisory role • Excellent analytical / problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail • BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other relevant degrees • Ability to work with unstructured data to derive insights on business performance • Self-starter who is able to take on and completely own new projects • Strong communication skills, EQ and ability to work in collaboration with the Executive Team, VP leadership team and staff members of varying experience levels • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, accountability-driven environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Ideal candidate is based in Southern California, though all geographies within the U.S. will be considered
