Description

• Architect and build a world-class billing platform using Stripe Connect • Design and implement complex payment flows supporting our multi-sided marketplace • Build seamless onboarding experiences for gym owners and members • Implement financial reporting and reconciliation systems for accurate revenue tracking • Ensure compliance with applicable tax, KYC/AML, and other regulatory requirements • Collaborate cross-functionally to ideate and execute on new monetization opportunities • Mentor other engineers and promote engineering best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years working extensively with Stripe Connect • Expert-level knowledge of Stripe Connect's APIs, SDKs, and platform architecture • Experience building complex billing systems for multi-sided marketplaces • Deep understanding of payment routing, cross-border payouts, and identity verification flows • Knowledge of regulatory requirements around KYC/AML and tax reporting (1099-K) • Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and REST API design • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design robust, scalable architectures • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to partner with cross-functional teams
