Description

• Initiate project work with team members to ensure they are set for internal and external success. Set expectations on goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables. • Create kickoff materials and lead kickoff ceremonies and activities, collaborating with Qarik and customer teams as needed. • Create and manage project plans based on the statement of work, communicate plans to internal and external stakeholders, and ensure alignment with customer expectations and timelines. • Develop and maintain project documentation. • Identify, elevate, and manage changes in scope as needed. Inform and contribute to future scoping as needed. • Run/facilitate meetings and take meeting minutes (with team participation). • Run agile or similar ceremonies, using both best practices and creativity to meet the customer and project where they are and where they need to be. Utilize project management tools and methodologies like Jira, Trello, or Asana to track progress, manage tasks, and collaborate with distributed project teams. • Manage backlogs, clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, and write user stories as needed. • Identify key project sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers and tailor communication strategies accordingly. • Coordinate with cross-functional Qarik and Client teams to manage activities and unblock teams as needed. • Create project status reports and deliver them to Qarik and client teams. • Manage project budgets using internal systems and processes. • Identify, escalate, and manage risks and issues proactively. • Build strong relationships with the Qarik account and delivery teams and clients, maintain regular communications, and manage stakeholder expectations at multiple levels. • Recommend improvements in Qarik’s technology and delivery model and contribute to making those improvements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in managing medium to large-scale projects with experience managing project teams of various sizes, locations, and skill/levels. • Experience in professional services or client delivery; this is a client-facing role. • A background in engineering, software architecture, or a technology-related field. • Proficiency in project management and agile methodologies. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively. • You think and work systematically and logically, backed by technical skills, methodical problem-solving, and practical thinking. • Experience managing remote teams and the ability to accommodate time zone differences as needed. • You are a clear communicator, both verbally and in writing. You can convey information through words, data, and diagrams/workflows.
