Description

• Own the release process, managing code and configuration deployments across multiple SaaS and customer cloud environments. • Develop and maintain release management tools and scripts to reduce toil, increase confidence in changes, and mitigate failures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, Product Management, and Operations, to ensure successful releases. • Ensure releases are compliant with industry standards and best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to releases, ensuring minimal impact on production. • Maintain documentation related to release processes, procedures, and timelines. • Communicate release details and schedules to stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 4-8 years of experience in site reliability, software engineering, or a related role. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks. • Fluency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), feature flags, and modern backend technologies (experience with Go is strongly preferred). • A builder's spirit (you have a track record of building projects for fun, staying updated with open-source developments, etc.) • Excellent problem-solving and communications skills, and attention to detail, in a remote team environment.
