Description

• Lead consulting engagements for internal controls and risk advisory services • Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting • Develop and execute remediation roadmaps • Conduct ICFR risk assessments • Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to team members • Lead day-to-day project management activities • Review staff work for quality • Status updates to clients and internal management • Mentor staff and senior consultants • Gain understanding of clients' objectives and regulatory environment • Lead projects in areas of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and Internal Controls • Execute risk assessments for financial reporting • Assess internal controls design adequacy • Identify and close control gaps • Plan, review, and provide direction for project team work • Communicate extensively with clients • Stay abreast of emerging risk areas • Strengthen and maintain industry contacts

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting • CPA, CIA, and/or CISA Certification preferred • Minimum five years experience in external audit or risk advisory roles • Ability to lead engagements with oversight • Experience supervising direct reports • Demonstrated knowledge of business risks, internal controls, SOX, COSO framework • Ability to navigate complex client processes • Desire to help build team and methodologies
