Description
• Oversee development and maintenance of core infrastructure • Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient • Lead a team of engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring quality solutions • Drive architectural reviews and collaborate to solve challenges • Accountable for team commitments and focus on impactful work • Build strong relationships with cross-functional counterparts • Proactively identify trends and perform root-cause analysis
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps, with a focus on containerized developer platforms (such as ECS or Kubernetes) • 2+ years of experience managing an engineering team • Comfortable identifying, owning, and solving problems from end to end • Lead by example in building robust architecture • Pragmatic and empathetic in understanding impact of performance issues • Tailor management style to team members • Familiar with 'Infrastructure as Code' principles • Shy away from manual work/processes and automate whenever possible • An engineer by trade with history of shipping production code • Experience with FinTech or consumer apps is a plus
