• Partner closely with leaders across our Sales & Customer Outcomes teams to drive strategic decision-making, investment prioritization, and long-range planning • Support the monthly top-line forecast & prepare related reports on key GTM KPIs • Serve as a key point of contact for questions around the F&S team’s Sales financial forecast • Analyze potential new GTM channels to complement our existing direct sales and partner sales motion • Perform data-driven analysis to identify, evaluate and execute on value creation initiatives, investment opportunities and risk mitigation strategies • Build scalable processes and systems to enhance financial visibility, control and planning effectiveness that support the next wave of Samsara’s growth • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally
• 2+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, and/or management consulting • Bachelor's degree • Strong financial modeling and analysis capabilities, including advanced Excel / Google Sheets and Powerpoint / Google Slides skills • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, often changing environment • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior management • Experience building financial models from scratch • Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
