Description
• We are excited to add a Lead Engineer to our Data Platform team, preferably based in EDT or European time zones. Reporting to the CTO, this individual contributor role will be responsible for building the underlying platform and shared tools to empower data engineers and data scientists. This person will also mentor earlier-career engineers, collaborate with product and design leads as needed, participate in interviewing/scaling of the all-up engineering organization.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience building data platforms in high volume/scaling environments across distributed teams. • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services. • Expertise in Python, SQL. • Big query or equivalent data warehouse experience (redshift, snowflake, etc). • Airflow or equivalent in house data platform experience (prefect, dagster, etc). • Clickhouse. • Commitment to perpetuating an inclusive and collaborative working environment. Preference may be given to candidates with the following: • Experience with Golang, Typescript. • Experience working in advertising technology, marketing, climate tech industries. • Experience working at globally distributed remote startups.
