Description
• Provide legal advice to CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors • Manage legal strategy, compliance, corporate governance, M&A, IP, privacy, contracts, employment law, and enterprise risk • Ensure legal interests are protected, give guidance on content licensing, and oversee Security and IT department • Lead government affairs, interact with legislators and manage security-related legal issues
Requirements
• JD from an accredited law school and state bar membership • 12+ years legal experience, content or media company experience a plus • Experience managing teams and cybersecurity, familiarity with legislative matters • Strong work ethic, communication skills, business judgment, multitasking ability, attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel occasionally
