Description
• Galileo has an immediate opening for a full-time Paralegal to assist Galileo’s legal team, within the greater SoFi Legal Team - with a primary focus on reviewing NDAs and vendor contracts, working on draft amendments and completing due diligence requests on behalf of the company.
Requirements
• A paralegal certificate or at least 2+ years prior experience working on commercial legal and business matters as a legal assistant/paralegal, or similar role, preferably in an in-house setting • Excellent writing abilities • Possess superior attention to detail • Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team • Ability to track deadlines, partner with the cross-functional partners to obtain relevant information, and project manage/meet time-sensitive deadlines to respond to all legal process served on the Company • Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities • Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple requests across various departments and subject matter areas • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle time-sensitive requests • Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, G-Suite, Airtable, Ivalua, IronClad, and Confluence • Experience in editing and proofreading and creating PowerPoint presentations • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Highly motivated and self-starting – you are eager to roll up your sleeves and get things done and work on a wide variety of projects and legal matters • Experience coordinating and driving legal projects to successful completion
