Description

• Crafted for marketing professionals looking to boost their digital marketing skills by specializing in search marketing • Participants will improve their Digital Marketing skills in Search Marketing with the help of a curated curriculum and 1-1 guidance from an expert mentor • The course is 100% online and part time • Over 10 weeks, students will progress through the curriculum intended to build their skills • Students will build a stellar industry vocabulary, learn best-in-class tools and strategies, and tackle projects based on real-world search marketing work • Mentoring entails grading student deliverables on a weekly basis, offering detailed feedback, teaching/modeling challenging concepts, and providing career guidance about the industry • Mentors are expected to have biweekly, 30-minute, 1:1 Zoom check-ins to help students set and achieve their learning goals, provide feedback, and help them move towards getting a job • Mentoring at Springboard is a rewarding opportunity to grow professionally and make a lasting impact

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO and/or Search Engine Marketing • Passionate about explaining principles of marketing strategy as about digital and search marketing itself • Expert or strongly proficient in topics covered in the curriculum • Highly skilled in using tools like Google Analytics 4, an SEO tool like Ahrefs or SEMRush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Jira/Asana, and a CMS like Wordpress • Experience critiquing work and giving meaningful feedback on digital marketing-related tasks • Empathetic, patient, have excellent communication skills, and can hold others accountable • Available for up to 30-minute review of student submissions prior to weekly call • Able to spend additional 30 minutes per call to provide feedback during the call • Must be able to work biweekly, 30-minute, 1:1 Zoom check-ins with students • Desire to help students succeed and assist in their transition towards a job in search marketing
