Description
• Software Engineer role • Work on Stride's chain and build open-source infra supporting the protocol or Cosmos in general • Significant engineering challenges in optimizing and improving LS and interchain communication technology • Focus on safety and developing self-healing technology for the chain • Work on interchain communication, including making core open-source contributions to the IBCv3 code base • Work closely with the Informal Systems team on interchain security and rolling out the new Proof of Stake design • Improve the core ecosystem infra and push for its adoption in the space
Requirements
• Software Engineer position for Stride's own chain and open-source infrastructure supporting the protocol or Cosmos • Looking for someone with 0-4 years of experience • Ability to write production-quality code with keen attention to detail • Well-rounded engineering background • Technical nice-to-have include golang, distributed systems experience, L1 blockchain building experience, tendermint/cosmos-sdk expertise • Fully remote position but an office in NYC is available • Work schedule of 40-60 hours per week in extremely busy periods • Working with novel technology and contributing to open-source infrastructure • Opportunity to work on safety, interchain communication, interchain security, and open-source infra • Need for innovation and an engineering-first mindset.
