Description
• Lead the development of advanced machine learning models and systems, with a focus on NLP • Design, implement and document efficient and effective data pipelines, and ensure that these pipelines are integrated seamlessly into our overall technology stack • Deploy machine learning models into production environments, which involves preparing the models for deployment, testing them in the production environment, and ensuring they are functioning correctly before going live. • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of machine learning, and incorporate these developments into our technology stack • Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the team, and help to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning • Inform best practices for train/test data curation and version control • Statistical monitoring of models in production • Monitor and evaluate machine learning infrastructure uptime and costs.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Extensive experience with Python • Extensive experience with NLP models and pipelines • Demonstrable experience of delivering high-quality machine learning solutions in a production environment • Experience with common machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch • Extensive experience with at least one ML and data pipeline framework such as Kubeflow, Airflow, etc. • Extensive experience with SQL/postgres/BigQuery • Experience with Spark or map-reduce/hadoop framework for parallel processing • Comfortable working with large, complex datasets • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
