🏢 In-office - Manhattan
• Hybrid role reporting to AAF's Wall Street office • Support AAF’s research and community organizing projects • Data Collection & Analysis, creating content for demographic profiles and reports • Obtain and process administrative data sets for research • Analyze data products from U.S. Census Bureau • Provide customized data and mapping services • Collect and organize survey/focus group data • Promote and facilitate Federation research products • Conduct interviews with key study informants and stakeholders • Review relevant literature and provide summaries as needed
• Bachelor’s degree required; recent graduate student in public policy, social research, or demography preferred • All new hires must be vaccinated and stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines, unless a reasonable accommodation is granted. • Knowledge of statistical analysis software (i.e. Stata, R, SQL, or Tableau) • Experience with data products from the U.S. Census Bureau is a plus • Background in public policy, public administration, data-driven projects, community organizing, immigration, and/or working with marginalized groups a plus
