Description
• The Farmer’s Dog is looking for an accomplished Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. • Analytics Engineering is the cornerstone of reliable, accessible, and delightfully usable data. • Your focus will be conceiving of, developing, and shipping data products that make analysis and insight-generation fast, repeatable, and easy.
Requirements
• 4-6 years of experience in a analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics role, with a focus on designing, launching, and iterating on self-service data products. • Highly proficient in SQL. Dbt and Looker experience is preferred. • Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries and tools. • Strong knowledge of data modeling and standard methodologies. • Comfortable with data warehouse technologies and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP). • A leader and skilled mentor, with a proven track record of successfully leading analytics engineering projects. • Know that coding is only part of the job - think strategically, connect dots, see around corners, and ensure the value-delivery of your work is realized. • High-agency individual with an ownership mindset. • Enjoy “teaching others to fish” and think often about how to force-multiply the impact of your work. • Problem-solver, highly attentive to detail and have the ability to work autonomously within complex problem spaces.
