Requirements
• Design of transportation-related structures including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber elements • Assist senior design staff in structural design, drafting & review • Collaborate with structures group, other disciplines, and sometimes clients to complete projects • Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and codes • Develop engineers cost estimates • Guide junior staff by providing direction and constructive feedback
