Description
• Drive strategic leadership across accounting, revenue operations, treasury, tax, and internal control functions to align financial activities with organizational goals. • Develop and optimize cutting-edge financial systems and processes to deliver timely, actionable insights and improve overall financial performance. • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including consolidation, to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting. • Stay current on technical accounting topics to guarantee the consistent application of corporate accounting principles in full compliance with US GAAP. • Lead and support accounting personnel to uphold internal controls and company policies, fostering a high-performance culture. • Oversee compliance with all relevant taxes, including sales tax, and coordinate with external service providers for income tax filings. • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's objectives. • Identify and evaluate financial risks, and implement strategies to address and mitigate potential challenges effectively. • Recruit, develop, and lead a talented accounting team to achieve excellence and drive financial success.
Requirements
• Late start-up experience or smaller company experience (500 employees or less) • Manufacturing industry experience • Aspirations for upward movement (even CFO track) • CPA Certified • Strong Technical Accounting experience • Ability to lead and roll up your sleeves • Experienced ERP implementation
