Description

• Lead the design strategy and execution for Valence's platform, ensuring that it is visually stunning, intuitive, and effective. • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create designs that align with our business goals and resonate with our users. • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and pain points, and translate these insights into powerful design solutions. • Develop and maintain design systems that enable our teams to move quickly and consistently as we scale. • Guide internal team and external vendors and contractors to set standards based on experience and best-in-class design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably within an early, B2B rapidly growing Saas company as a founding/lead designer. • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design, including experience with complex, data-intensive applications. • Experience working with engineering teams to implement designs, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of product development. • Ability to lead design projects from conception to execution, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
