Description

• Senior or Staff level Design Engineering role at Vercel • Responsible for highest level of polish, creativity interaction • Lead design initiatives, create innovative systems-based solutions • Contribute to product marketing areas from vercel.com to campaigns and events • Help lead technical roadmap for vercel.com and adjacent sites • Act as bridge between marketing and product teams • Mentor other designers and engineers • Grow the team and elevate design within the company

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of development experience • Strong programming skills, application development experience, troubleshooting skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent understanding of Next.js, Vercel, CMS platforms like Contentful, analytics platforms like Heap, design tools like Figma • Skills in graphic design (layout, typography, color, illustration) • Perfectionism with experience (polish, readability, accessibility, performance) • Experience working in or with Software as a Service (SaaS) companies • Collaboration experience with marketing and design teams in previous roles
