Description
• Mentoring other developer advocates and members of the Viam team • Building and documenting sample projects that highlight Viam product capabilities • Providing peer review for code and technical content • Creating content and hands-on activities for workshops and conferences/events • Developing and delivering technical talks • Working with the community to support them and raise awareness of how the Viam platform can support them in their robotics projects • Keeping up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide insights to the community and internal teams
Requirements
• Experience mentoring developer advocates and/or other technical mentorship • Experience in a developer advocacy role, or hands-on work with end users of technical products • Programming experience (Python, Go, or JavaScript preferred) and the ability to create and document technical demo projects • Comfort speaking about technical topics in front of an audience • Experience working with physical hardware • An interest in solving challenging problems with practical solutions • Experience creating high-quality content, such as blogs, tutorials, and videos for developer audiences
