Description
Are you an aspiring Junior Accountant looking for an opportunity to advance your career? Universal Hip Hop Museum (UHHM) is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant who we can rely on to manage daily accounting tasks. The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, tracking assets, liabilities, profits and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team environment, and take initiative when needed. Duties include posting journal entries, updating accounts receivable and payable, preparing financial statements, verifying deposits, maintaining accounting controls, updating financial data, and more.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience • Extensive knowledge of financial and cost accounting • Understanding of GAAP • Detail-oriented with organizational skills • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office • Strong interpersonal skills • Familiarity with non-profit regulations • Ability to work remotely and onsite
Benefits
• Salary Range: $58,500 - $76,782 Annual (Average) / $69,733 (Median) • Full-Time position • Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm schedule • Some evenings and weekend availability required • Remote and onsite work
