Description
• Provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract • Enforce the District’s entry and identification system • Patrol court facilities and grounds of the facility
Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • At least three (3) calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or its military equivalency • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English • Must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and a safe driving record for the past five years • Must be at least 21 years of age • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check • Must meet medical standards as specified by the United States Marshal Service (USMS)
