Description

• Audit, design, and implement secure infrastructure solutions for patient health platform • Implement security best practices • Build tools for faster deployment and issue remediation • Maintain HIPAA compliance • Manage external security audits • Monitor cloud spend • Participate in code reviews • Implement new HIPAA application specific requirements • Build out tools for engineering team • Lead infrastructure architecture design • Enhance and optimize CI/CD pipelines • Mentor junior team members • Lead backend system engineering projects

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevSecOps engineer, or similar role in healthcare, finance, or highly regulated industry • 4+ years of proven AWS experience • 3+ years of proven experience writing and implementing infrastructure as code • 3+ years of proven experience with SQL and relational database design • 3+ years of proven experience working with containers and serverless infrastructure • 3+ years experience building, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines • Strong technical knowledge of best practice security • Familiarity with security tools and technologies • Knowledge of common adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures • Strong expertise in architectural engineering best practices • Comfortable working remotely • Bonus qualifications: Experience with HIPAA and HITRUST framework, Terraform and AWS CDK, security standards and frameworks, relevant security certifications, backend system software development, AWS cost management, developing applications meeting HIPAA regulations
