Description

• Oversee all financial operations, including Accounting, Payroll, Tax Accounting, and Sales Tax Compliance • Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies to optimize returns while mitigating risks • Own relationship with Banks, Credit Card Partners, and insurance providers • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards, including tax filings and reporting requirements • Partner with CEO to lead fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, to support the company's capital needs and growth goals • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement • Promote cross-functional collaboration with other departments to drive efficiency and achieve organizational objectives

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Finance (MFin), or related master's degree • 7-10+ years of finance leadership experience such as VP of Finance, or Chief Financial Officer • Experience in Direct to Consumer companies in the retail space (must have physical inventory experience) • Has been part of a startup’s journey from the ground to scale, including fundraising • Ability to distill and communicate complex data in a clear way that can drive business decisions • Highly collaborative leader with experience managing multiple teams • Analytical and creative problem-solver • Passionate about Pepper’s mission to redefine body standards, and deeply believe that the world benefits from more products that cater to underserved audiences • Have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude and a resilient and adaptable mindset
