Description

• This role is a Staff Infrastructure Engineer who will report to the VP of Engineering and will be responsible primarily for backend, storage, and scaling solutions to support our explosive growth. • As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Whop, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our engineering team can ship code efficiently and reliably. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain the infrastructure that supports our rapidly growing platform. • The role requires a broad range of knowledge to tackle diverse daily challenges and strong soft skills in prioritization and organization to manage multiple requests and ideas effectively. Self-sufficiency is essential, as the ability to handle incidents with excellent communication and optimism is crucial. Additionally, balancing the demands of fast-paced growth and scaling with technical precision is a key aspect of the job.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in AWS, including ECS and RDS. • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi. • Strong experience with Ruby and TypeScript. • Proven ability to design and maintain scalable infrastructure. • Excellent communication skills to support and collaborate with product engineers. • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Typescript, NextJS, React
