Description
• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of matters • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with laws and regulations • Collaborate with internal stakeholders • Support corporate governance and regulatory compliance efforts • Handle general corporate matters • Familiarity with in-house legal operations a plus • Comfortable interacting with business professionals and external advisors • Desire to increase scope of work and responsibility • Working knowledge and interest in understanding evolving technologies and regulatory schemes
Requirements
• J.D. from an accredited law school • Admitted to practice law in New York and in good standing • 3-5 years of corporate legal experience, focusing on contract negotiation and legal analysis • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of legal matters • Highly developed written and oral communication skills • Strong analytics and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to manage negotiation and execution of various commercial agreements • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
