Description

• Oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting • Manage all tax compliance and reporting, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and other applicable tax filings • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities • Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA license is required (Master’s degree in Accounting and/or Taxation preferred) • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services, specifically private equity and private credit • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations • Experience in ASC 740 • Strong understanding of tax planning strategies and their application to business transactions • Proficiency in tax compliance software and accounting systems, such as Advent Geneva/World Investor • Leadership - ability to develop and implement strategies to maximize employee performance and foster high standards, act as a role model and in the best interests of the team, firm and clients • Problem Solving - ability to identify the cause and effects of issues and analyze existing and external information to come up with appropriate solutions • Planning/Organizing - prioritize and plan work activities for self and team proactively, use time efficiently, and maintain a high level of organization • Diligence and Attention to Detail - demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality control of all work products of self and others • Communication - speak clearly and professionally, create polished and complete documents, ensure top quality work product, and present data effectively • Results Oriented - understand and analyze work product, apply critical thinking to ensure accuracy and high quality of deliverables, willingness to analyze, innovate and improve workflow processes
