Description

• Coordinate manufacturing with suppliers to create BOMs, drawing packages, and assembly packages • Design hardware to perform validation and verification testing and work closely with various engineering teams • Manage the integration of system level design and make make modifications as necessary to hardware for assembly, installation, and testing • Lead the project management of the integration and testing design team to meet deadline requirements

Requirements

• M.S. in Mechanical Engineering • Fabrication of heavily loaded and high-precision components, as well as mechanical design experience • Fabrication of weldments, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems • CAD proficiency • Hands of experience with machine shop tools: mill, welder, lathe • Project execution from concept to development to production • Ph.D in related engineering discipline • Experience using Generative Shape Design, Part Design, and Assembly Design • Knowledge of PLC programming and controller development • Aerospace test equipment experience • Hardware in the loop testing (HIL) experience • Experience with high voltage systems • Familiarity with FAA certification • Rapid prototyping experience • Experience with sensor selection and automated hardware
