Description
• Design and implement a comprehensive regulatory strategy based on business objectives. • Partner with and manage partners responsible for testing and certification. • Collaborate with Aescape engineering and operations team to address regulatory requirements. • Setup and manage systems to track and manage compliance data including certification records. • Drive Product Safety assessments such as Hazards Analysis. • Interface to suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.
Requirements
• 10 or more years of experience in Hardware Product Safety and Compliance with successful certification of multiple consumer products. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field. • Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements including UL, CE, and FCC marking process. • Critical and dynamic thinking to ensure Product Safety and Compliance goals are achieved. • Experience launching multiple safe and compliant products to the market. • Cross-functional skillset in driving Hazards Assessments. • Excellent verbal and written skills for presenting strategy and status of activity. • Detail oriented with good project management skill set. • Collaborative and patient in introducing people to regulatory requirements.
