Description
• Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on DevSecMLOps, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities. • Develop and execute a strategic vision for DevSecMLOps that aligns with the company’s goals and drives innovation in Engineering Excellence. • Scale and optimize engineering processes, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, high volume, and high-performance services. • Lead the newly formed MLOps function with an opinionated PoV on what greatness looks like and guide the team implement the vision. • Provide operational, infrastructural, and scale guidance to the architecture and implementation of loosely coupled services with low-latency and high volume data stores. • Create a roadmap for and drive operational excellence with right sized monitoring, instrumentation guidance, and tooling for a self-service Engineering organization. • Implement best practices in software engineering for performant, reliable, and cost optimized systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevSecMLOps practices into the software development life cycle. • Drive greatness in DevSecMLOps processes, tools, and practices towards Engineering Excellence. • Lead change management efforts to influence successful adoption of new technologies and mechanisms. • Stay aware of emerging technologies, identify opportunities, drive PoCs to enhance our technology stack. • Understand the why behind the company strategy, and build DevSecMLOps practices that enrich and uplevel the entire technology organization.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • 15+ years of experience in DevSecMLOps and SRE in building and scaling high volume, high throughput systems with loosely coupled services and low-latency data stores. • Proven track record of at least 10 years in leadership roles, managing and scaling DevSecMLOps and SRE organizations. • Proven track record of right sized telemetry, observability, and monitoring of services with clear SLI, SLO, and SLAs. • Experience in a fast-paced environment in a high-growth technology or technology-enabled company. • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and the ability to lead change in a dynamic environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
