• Manage, mentor and guide a team of engineers. • Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the Engineering team. • Develop and implement scalable systems and processes. • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technologies. • Support the Field Service department in addressing more complex issues. • Identify risks early and bring a mindset of mitigating such risks. • Work closely with the executive team to define Engineering budgets. • Collaborate most closely with Product Management to define product requirements.
• A degree in Mechanical or Electronic or Electrical or Computer or System Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial (Director level or higher) role. • Proven experience in the design, development, and manufacturing of battery energy storage systems (ESSs). • Communication is the bedrock of strong teamwork, managing expectations, coaching and development, motivating others and providing clarity. • Demonstrated experience building, managing and nurturing an Engineering team across multiple disciplines. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
