• Account Executive will drive sales growth for Axios HQ by engaging with decision-makers.
• 6+ years of direct B2B sales experience closing net new business. • Exceptional sales fundamental skills including needs diagnosis, storytelling, objection handling, answering difficult questions, and navigating a complex process to close business. • Highly skilled at managing a multi-threaded sales process - involving multiple client stakeholders and decision makers using solution-selling principles and concepts. • Self-driven and view themselves as the CEO of their own book of business, taking ownership in all facets of their sales process. • Adaptable and able to iterate on their approach to evolve their sales pitch based on the persona or department they are selling to. • Experience diving in and becoming a subject matter expert on a new technology product. • Superior presentation skills with the ability to create a compelling business case for a prospective client to buy a new product. • Wildly collaborative and motivated to work hard toward lofty individual and team goals. • Demonstrates strong intrinsic motivation to actively seek feedback and incorporate it into daily sales activities and performance.
