Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management. • Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Design, implement, and monitor effective internal controls. • Assist CFO with oversight, preparation and filing of tax returns. • Work closely with the CFO and department heads to support budgeting and forecasting. • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of accounting systems. • Collaborate with finance team on long-term financial planning. • Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit. • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights. • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a management role. • Management company accounting experience required. • Deep knowledge of accounting principles and experience with month-end and year-end closing processes, internal controls, audits and compliance. • Strong background in financial reporting and general ledger oversight. • Experience with tax preparation, planning and compliance. • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to manipulate and organize data and operate within computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs. • Knowledge of relevant accounting software preferred (such as NetSuite and Concur). • PowerBI, Alteryx, or other business intelligence tools a plus. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High level of professional ethics and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
