Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer at Beyond Identity, you are integral to a next generation Secure Access product which is core to Beyond Identity’s mission to protect the livelihood of our customers. • It will be designed with a security-first mindset and zero shared secrets architecture. • As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll contribute to developing a user-friendly platform that prioritizes phishing-resistant MFA, continuous device security, and seamless policy management. • We are a fast-paced organization going through rapid growth and solving technical challenges at an exponential scale. • We have a strong company culture of committing to goals and delivering on timelines. • This position is hybrid and preference will be given to candidates in the New York, Dallas or Austin areas.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software development experience focused on building and supporting backend systems and frontend platforms with a focus on authentication, authorization, and security. • Experience building and deploying production code written in modern programming languages. We develop most of our server-side code in Rust and it's a plus if you already love Rust, or want a chance to become a Rust expert. • Production experience with microservices architecture, distributed system design, and cloud engineering best practices. • Experience developing and maintaining software in an end-user-facing production environment. • Good understanding of modern CI/CD tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. • Experience working in a startup environment. • Experience with authentication protocols and standards including OIDC, SCIM, ADFS, SAML, WSFED, LDAP, OAuth2.0. • Domain experience with SSO, IDaas, DaaS, and IDP solutions is a plus. • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience with database management, design, and optimization, including relational and NoSQL databases.
