Description
• Architect and implement backend services & systems that meet novel healthcare and business needs • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data analysts to prioritize and enhance the systems and apps for internal stakeholders and patients • Work with engineers to understand and impact how data is designed, produced, and validated while influencing product and decisions with data • Implement new technologies, system designs and best practices in code health, testing, observability, and service maintainability • Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
Requirements
• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and shipping backend services and systems • You have 4+ years of experience developing applications and services in Python and/or other Object Oriented Programming Languages • You have very strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively with engineers, product, and business stakeholders • You have worked deploying and operating services in a cloud environment such as GCP or AWS • You are knowledgeable about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques with hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and columnar databases (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, HBase)
