Description
Analyze financial information monthly and prepare variance analysis. • Manage the reconciliation process for the Accounting Department • Manage internal & external audit requests. • Oversee monthly hedging and IRLC calculations, journal entries, and analysis. • Manage monthly MSR valuation accounting and analysis. • Set up various processes for the department and assist with projects. • Implement new accounting guidance and take lead on technical accounting documentation. • Assist with the preparation and review of all financial statements and all external financial reporting requirements. • Effectively develop and manage team members. • Assist with projects as requested.
Requirements
8 - 12 years accounting experience including a minimum of 3 years in public accounting. • CPA required. • Mortgage or financial services experience required - industry or client. • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred. • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. • Excellent listening, organizational and time management skills. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and employees to create a positive and cooperative work environment. • Management experience required. • Experience with Accounting standard implementation and writing technical accounting memos.
