Description
• Build tools and automation that gather and process raw data at scale from diverse sources • Implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and accurate ETLs frameworks • Implement and maintain a high level of data quality monitoring in our analytics • Manage a team of direct reports and lead the team to achieving their objectives and outcomes • Operate as both a player and coach by owning the team’s backlog while still contributing to the code base • Provide technical leadership and career development opportunities for members of your team • Contribute to agile team ceremonies and processes (stand-ups, groomings, planning meetings)
Requirements
• Experience managing a team of technical individual contributors • Experience as a data engineer automating data pipelines and improving the performance of ETL processes and usage of relational and NoSQL databases • Experience with Cloud Platform Services (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) • Experience designing and building ETL processes • Fundamental understanding of NoSQL and relational database design • Embracive culture of alerting and monitoring • Familiarity with deploying applications using containers • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
